Do I join a group?
Yes. A Slow Fire is a selected-date private small-group journey for four to six guests. You book per person and may travel alongside people you have not met yet.
Can two or three guests travel privately?
Sometimes. Private departures for two or three guests may be available on request and are quoted separately, because the cost structure changes at smaller group sizes.
Can I come solo, or as a couple?
Both work. Solo travellers, couples and pairs of friends can enquire, but exact rooming and any single-room supplement are confirmed before payment.
Are airport transfers included?
No. Airport or railway-station transfers are not included in the base price. They can be arranged separately as an add-on.
Will I touch or feed pandas?
No. This is a Panda Conservation Day built around conservation education and supervised food preparation. Participation is subject to the base's rules on the day.
Is the opera performance private?
No. The interpretation layer is private, while the VIP performance is shared. That protects accuracy without pretending the show is exclusive.
Do Noah and Coco travel with us?
No. They design the Journey and brief your host. On the ground you are with a bilingual host and the local specialists we have prepared ourselves.
Can I add days before or after?
Yes. Tell us your wider route and we will suggest what belongs around Chengdu, including Qingcheng Mountain as a full-day extension if it fits.
A Slow Fire also works inside a longer trip. If Chengdu is one part of a bigger journey, tell us the whole shape →
